Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a proven leader to oversee a large data center network engineering team. You will drive operations, expand capacity, and optimize deployment strategies for AWS global infrastructure.

You will manage cross‑functional teams, collaborate with vendors, and ensure safety and security standards while delivering scalable connectivity at low cost. Travel to active sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data center technology role
• 2+ years TCP/IP networking, cabling, fiber, and test equipment experience
• 2+ years of management/team lead function experience
• Willingness to travel to data center locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams of technicians and engineers to deliver high performance
• Deliver capacity to existing data centers and help bring online new ones
• Improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and safety
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors and liaise with internal teams
