Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to oversee physical security operations across AWS data-center sites in the Mesa, AZ region.

You will own post orders, security procedures, incident response, and coordination with on-site security forces to protect personnel and infrastructure. The role requires strong leadership, rapid decision-making, and hands-on testing of security equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• Experience with physical security best practices and security systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical security operations at AWS data centers.
• Develop and maintain post orders and security procedures.
• Handle site incidents and coordinate security responses.
• Test and maintain security equipment and access controls.
• Coordinate with on-site security forces and vendors; prepare shift handover docs.
