Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Security Operations Manager I to oversee physical security services across data center operations, including contract guards, alarm investigations and incident reporting. You will coordinate with regional security specialists on projects and expansions while providing a visible security presence and excellent customer service to visitors and employees.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in security, strong vendor management, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security patrolling and reporting.
• 3+ years managing security vendors, contractors and customers.
• 3+ years in operations, physical security or equivalent environment.
• 2+ years project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contract frontline security staff and daily operations to provide a safe experience.
• Manage security operations for a data center.
• Coordinate with vendor management to improve security team skills and training.
• Interface with vendors for site repairs and new security for construction.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPIs and joint improvement plans.
• Ensure all security protocols are followed and incident logs are maintained.
