QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Security Operations Manager I to oversee physical security for our data centers, including contractor supervision, alarm investigations and incident reporting. You will coordinate with regional specialists to ensure safe visitor and employee experiences while upholding top-tier customer service and security standards.

The role requires managing contract guards, monitoring security systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across sites with 24/7

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security patrolling and reporting.
• 3+ years managing security vendors and contractors.
• 3+ years in operations or physical security environments.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; or Associate's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contract frontline security staff and daily security operations.
• Manage security operations for a data center.
• Coordinate with security vendor management for training and improvements.
• Interface with vendors for system repairs and new security for construction.
• Ensure security systems are fully functional including Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management.
