Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer L1 to join our on-site team in Garland, TX. You will report to the Security Supervisor and handle access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and written reporting to protect personnel and property.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in security, and onboarding certifications (CSG/CPO) within six months. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a security role or equivalent background.
• Active certifications such as CSG or CPO within six months.
• Data Center or access control experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control; verify identification for all personnel and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV and security technologies; respond to incidents.
• Prepare concise incident and activity reports daily.
• Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving when needed.
• Ensure adherence to security procedures and policies.
