M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to lead large-scale electronic security installations at a Charleston, SC data center site.

The role sits at the construction project site and requires overseeing project administration, budgets, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction with electrical/contractor experience, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with CPM

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) with 5+ years of construction experience.
• Experience with electrical or construction contractors.
• Experience with contracts, drawings, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• CPM Scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with design techniques and technical drawings.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall administration, organization, and execution of large data center electronic security installation projects.
• Manage project financials and ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate kick-off meetings and forecast cash flow and manpower.
• Order materials, prepare proposals and change orders, and track budgets.
• Coordinate with general contractor and other trades; ensure safety compliance.
