Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to lead large electronic security installations at our Sterling, Virginia data center site.

The role is onsite with direct responsibility for budget, schedule, and client coordination. You will oversee financials, scheduling, and cross-functional teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery across intruder detection, access control, biometrics, and video systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with electrical/construction contracting.
• Experience on projects from $500k to $10M; familiarity with specifications, RFIs, submittals.
• Proficiency with CPM Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financials of the project.
• Ensure on-time project completion.
• Lead project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs.
• Prepare price proposals and change orders.
• Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
