Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to lead large electronic security installation projects at a data center site in Charleston, SC.

You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and safety, coordinating with the general contractor and other trades. The role requires strong interpersonal and writing skills, CPM scheduling proficiency, and the ability to travel to multiple project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) preferred with 5+ years of experience in construction or electrical contracting.
• Experience on projects ranging from $500k to $10M and with contract drawings, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• CPM Scheduling experience and ability to plan, forecast, and manage budgets and manpower.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills; capable of leading and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.
• Manage project financials, schedules, and manpower; ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate with general contractor and other trades; prepare price proposals and change orders.
• Travel to project locations as needed; ensure safety regulations are followed.
