Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Project Leader 1) to lead the administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects located at Haskell, Texas.

The role requires supervising construction project managers, coordinating with GC and trades, and ensuring on-time completion while managing budgets, cash flow, and safety compliance. This is a site-based leadership role.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/CS/Math/Physics with 7+ years PM experience, or 5+ years with MS.
• Experience supervising Construction Project Managers and PM duties on construction projects.
• Extensive project management across multiple projects and teams.
• Experience with early involvement alongside engineering firms, clients, and GCs.
• Proven track record of multi-discipline projects (Fire Alarm, Security, AV, Power, Instrumentation).
• Strong verbal and written communication and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to work in diverse environments and plan long- and short-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center security installation projects.
• Work at the data center construction site.
• Manage project financials and ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate and run a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare price proposals and change orders.
• Prepare monthly reports analyzing budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
• Identify opportunities for cost‑saving measures and quality improvement.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
• Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
