Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Senior Data Center Security Installation Program Manager (Project Leader 2) to lead large-scale electronic security installations across multiple sites for federal, local and commercial customers.

You will oversee project staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, mentor project managers, and ensure safety and compliance while partnering with general contractors and customers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten years of experience in the design, installation, integration, and testing of electronic security systems.
• Within this timeframe, at least ten years of experience managing installation projects on nationwide security installation federal government contracts.
• Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Experience using sophisticated Project Mgmt, CPM Scheduling, Cost and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of electronic security systems at multiple sites.
• Establish and implement procedures and controls to ensure that security installation projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage project site managers and supervisors.
• Interface with customer personnel and respond to their issues and concerns.
• Coordination with the general contractor and other trades.
• Manage subcontractors and oversee their performance.
• Document project issues/conditions.
• Prepare installation proposals, change orders, and schedules.
• Prepare status reports and briefings.
• Responsible for the overall financial management of the project(s).
• Responsible for on-time project completion.
• Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
