M.C. Dean is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Project Leader 1) for the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

The role is based on-site in Burlington, Texas and requires leading large data center electronic security installation projects with cross‑functional teams including fire alarm, communications, security, AV and IT systems. Ideal candidates will have a BS in engineering with 7+ years of PM experience (or 5+ with an MS) and a proven track record of managing

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required with 7+ years experience or 5+ with MS.
• Extensive project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent construction projects.
• Experience coordinating with engineering firms, clients and general contractors.
• Proven track record managing multi-discipline projects (fire alarm, communications, security, AV, power, instrumentation).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to plan long- and short-term strategies in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall financial management of the project(s).
• Ensure on-time project completion.
• Lead project kickoff meetings (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow and manpower for projects.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare price proposals and change orders.
• Prepare monthly reports on budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and quality improvements.
• Ensure safety regulations are adhered to.
• Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
