Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) for a data center in Austin, Texas.

You’ll join the Security and Electronic Systems team delivering intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video, IT systems, and perimeter defense on federal, local, and commercial contracts. Responsibilities include managing project finance, scheduling, subcontract coordination, and change orders while ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction or electrical contracting.
• Experience on projects from $500k to $10M and with contract drawings, subcontracts, change orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of the project(s).
• Ensure on-time project completion.
• Coordinate project kick-off meetings and forecast cash flow and manpower.
• Prepare price proposals and change orders; monthly budget/cash flow reports.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and coordinate with GC and trades.
