Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a DCSE security engineer to own end-to-end security domains for sites, both Anthropic-operated and partner-operated. You will design controls, build systems enforcing them, and set technical standards used by the team and vendors.

This role emphasizes automation, evidence, and code-based requirements; regular travel to data centers is expected; experience with NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is valuable; join a team shaping secure, scalable AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Engineered security control domain end to end.
• Read and review code, design data systems behind security tooling, and build automation with Git and code review.
• Hands-on security work at data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Applied control frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001 or SOC 2) with evidence.
• Write requirements for third parties and tests that show evidence.

Responsibilities

• Security domains, end to end: own one or more physical security domains at partner-operated and Anthropic-operated sites.
• Tools, automation and AI agents: build internal tools and agents for evidence collection and access reviews.
• Security review for new sites, leases and vendors: identify gaps, write security terms and verify fixes.
• Requirements and procedures as code: keep as code in a version-controlled repo.
• Site and supplier assessment: assess sites against requirements and document deviations.
• Continuous compliance evidence: tie controls to frameworks with current evidence.
• Security event response: respond to site security events with operations teams.
