Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking an experienced DCSE engineer to own the hardware inventory, custody, and data pipelines across data centers, sites, and vendors. You will define schemas, interfaces, and tooling to enable automated, verifiable security posture from records and events.

You will collaborate with compute and data center operations, hardware vendors, and logistics partners; travel to data center sites is required. Remote US applicants are considered.

Qualifications

• Designed and run production data systems with schemas, change data capture and pipelines.
• Integrated with external inventory tools and vendor APIs.
• Shipped software running on edge hosts and ensured field correctness.
• Worked with hardware assets or security controls data.
• Read and review others' code and used AI coding agents with Git and code review.
• Owned end-to-end domain architecture with teams and vendors.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language.

Responsabilités

• Own hardware inventory and custody data modelos and change history.
• Build tools, automation and AI agents for data reconciliation and audits.
• Develop custody workflows and site/host software for recording custody events.
• Manage continuous control monitoring and posture calculations across sites.
• Ensure data quality with coverage checks and retention controls.
• Create integration and reporting surfaces used by leadership.
