Job summary

CEC Companies in Texas is seeking a Safety Training Manager to lead site safety, oversee OSHA compliance, and deliver in-house certification training on active hyperscale data center projects. This field-based role requires strong incident investigation skills and the ability to manage records, training matrices, and regulatory reporting.

You will collaborate with project teams, enforce stop-work authority, and maintain certifications while advancing safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety management experience.
• CHST required; CSP preferred.
• OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Trainer or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience on mission-critical/industrial or hyperscale data center projects preferred.
• Proficiency with safety management platforms and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the site Health and Safety Plan, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety standards across trades.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301, SDS library, training matrix, and project safety docs.
• Deliver in-house safety training (OSHA 10/30, First Aid, CPR) and operator certifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to align safety requirements with construction activities.
