Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, is hiring a Project Safety Engineer for a data center project in Council Hill, OK. You will promote a zero-injury culture, audit sites, and support safety programs.

Responsibilities include safety audits, training, incident investigations, maintaining safety documentation, and assisting in project safety plans. The role requires OSHA 10 or 30 and 2+ years of safety experience; 6-day work weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience, ideally in construction or manufacturing
• Active OSHA 10 or 30 is required
• Proficient in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) would support daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and inspections on the project site and identify hazards
• Educate project team on safety through training and mentoring
• Investigate incidents and near misses; assist with claims management and corrective actions
• Participate in creating the project safety plan and maintain safety documentation
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are maintained and inspected
