Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Safety Engineer to support and enforce safety programs on large-scale mission-critical and data center construction projects. You will conduct site inspections, audits, safety meetings, and training to promote a zero-incident culture and mitigate risk across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include reviewing JHAs and permits, collaborating with project teams and subcontractors, and leading investigations with strong emphasis on OSHA construction standards and NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Support and enforce safety programs on large-scale construction projects to ensure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety meetings to drive corrective actions.
• Review JHAs, permits, and pre-task plans to identify risks and mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Prepare documentation and reporting for safety events for leadership.
