Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer II to maintain and improve data center uptime and efficiency. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems while coordinating with Data Center Technicians and vendors.

You will read blueprints, manage change windows, and support disaster recovery drills, commissioning efforts, and reports on power and space utilization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data centers or critical facilities operations.
• 4+ years in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Experience with building automation systems and critical infrastructure hardware.

Responsibilities

• On-call 24x7 to support data center operations.
• Monitor, maintain, and repair mission-critical equipment to meet uptime targets.
• Manage vendor relationships and document control; read blueprints and specs.
• Develop and implement SOPs/MOPs for maintenance and operations.
