Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own quality at the source inside OEMs' and integrators' factories for data center power and cooling equipment. You will qualify suppliers, define acceptance criteria, witness factory acceptance tests (FATs), and drive corrective action to closure to ensure equipment ships complete, documented, and install-ready.

This hands-on role partners with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Construction, and Commissioning.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in quality engineering or supplier quality in electrical or mechanical equipment manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with factory acceptance tests (FAT) and supplier audits.
• Structured problem-solving with 8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, control plans, PPAP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and readiness including on-site audits and MRAs.
• Plan and witness FATs for electrical gear and mechanical systems.
• Review supplier test reports and turnover documentation to ensure completion and install readiness.
• Own NCR and deviation processes, drive containment and CAPA to closure.
• Define and track supplier quality KPIs and report quarterly.
