Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Quality Assurance Manager to oversee on-site quality control for a McGregor, TX project. You will lead inspectors, maintain defect logs, monitor contractor quality programs, and coordinate with the Owner to ensure contractual compliance and timely delivery.

Extensive experience in construction quality management is required, with a BA/BS and 8+ years; candidates with CQM or related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• CQM or other professional certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with construction contracts.
• Maintain a list of defects and omissions.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
• Monitor the contractor quality program for conformance to the plan.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Report critical issues to Construction Management Lead and provide resolution.
• Provide input for weekly and monthly project reports.
• Act as the direct point of contact for the Owner and ensure project execution.

Education

BA/BS + 8+ yrs experience or equivalent

CQM or other professional certifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
