Job summary

Decima International seeks a Construction QA Manager (On-site) to lead the Quality Management System and supervise QA/QC activities on data center construction projects in Texas. This is a client-facing role requiring strong interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills, with responsibility across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of quality management in construction, knowledge of QMS, and experience in large Commercial/Industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction quality management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to QA/QC functions.
• Experience in client-facing positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sound knowledge of the project scope and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with stringent contract and owner quality requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive, project-specific QC plans.
• Review and verify material submittals for A/E and Client review.
• Verify that delivered materials comply with approved submittals.
• Provide and review submittals, RFI logs, maintenance logs, and other project-related materials on a timely basis.
• Review and update QC punch lists and coordinate punch list completion with GC and subcontractors.
• Verify the implementation and operation of QA/QC systems by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspections on site.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of overall Quality Systems.
• Ensure contract/company/HSE requirements are complied with.
