Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Quality Assurance Manager to lead inspections, verify workmanship and materials, and ensure conformance with contract requirements for a project in McGregor, TX. This on-site role calls for coordinating test activities, maintaining defect logs, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

You will oversee punchlist items, ensure timely testing and documentation, and act as the main point of contact for the Owner, driving project success with a strong focus on quality

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Fifteen years of experience in construction/quality management preferred.
• CQM or other professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with contract requirements.
• Maintain defects list and Non-Conformance Log; reconcile open issues.
• Monitor contractor quality program for conformance throughout construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform punchlist oversight and participate in zero-defect walkthrough.
• Summarize significant test results in progress and monthly reports.
• Serve as direct contact for Owner to ensure successful project execution.
• Verify tests are conducted as scheduled and retain test records.
• Coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Managers nationally. This position will be on-site in McGregor, TX.

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing the construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with the requirements of the construction contracts.
• Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
• Monitor the contractors’ quality program for conformance to the plan throughout the course of construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Reports critical issues to the Construction Management Lead and provides proper resolution.
• Provides in put for weekly project reports and monthly progress reports.
• Serves as the direct point of contact for the Owner, ensuring successful project execution and communication.
• Summarizing significant test results in progress reports.
• Verifying that tests are conducted as scheduled, witnessing selected tests, checking test results, if required, overseeing retesting, and retaining test records.
• Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings.
• Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.
• Conducts periodic site visits for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking.
• Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements

• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management
• CQM or other professional certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

• Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $160000 to $205000.
