Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, part of SPX Technologies, is seeking a Proposal Manager for Data Centers to lead commercial proposal development, pricing, and order-entry activities in support of the Global Account Management team.

You will collaborate with Global Account Managers, Application Engineers, Project Managers, and Legal to develop accurate proposals for equipment, services, and change orders, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, estimating, project management, or sales support.
• Experience developing commercial proposals and customer quotations.
• Strong commercial aptitude, financial and business acumen, and cost-estimating experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgetary and firm proposals for equipment, services, and aftermarket opportunities.
• Support strategy, pricing development, and customer quotation activities.
• Prepare customer-facing proposal documents and bid submissions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are complete and compliant.
• Enter awarded projects and change orders into ERP and systems.
• Assist in transition of awarded projects to execution teams.
