Job summary

Harder Mechanical is seeking a Project Safety Manager for a data center project in Sparks, NV. You will apply construction safety standards and work with the project management team and field supervision to keep all work safe and compliant.

You will lead on-site inspections, incident investigations, safety training, risk analysis, and Job Hazard Analyses. Ten years of experience and OSHA 30/510 and CSP or OHST preferred. This role offers competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of State/Local, OSHA laws and regulations.
• Experience with construction safety on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect job site, equipment, and provide incident prevention measures.
• Act as on-site Competent Person with regular inspections.
• Oversee safety professionals assigned to the project.
• Advise site personnel on fall protection, PPE, and work practices.
• Investigate incidents, prepare evaluation reports and root-cause analysis.
• Lead toolbox talks and site-specific safety training.
• Develop Activity Hazard Analyses for major work processes.
• Identify and correct safety deficiencies, conduct risk assessments.
