Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Project Controls Planner to transform master schedules into practical short-term plans for North American DCI projects. You will work with site teams and contractors to maintain detailed work plans and look-ahead schedules and to track progress against the Integrated Master Schedule.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of planning or scheduling experience on construction or infrastructure projects, strong Excel skills, and fluency with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of planning or scheduling experience on construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites and engaging directly with contractors and trades.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Proficiency in Excel and clear written and verbal communication.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Look-ahead planning: Prepare and maintain 2-, 3-, and 6-week look-ahead schedules with site teams and contractors, aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Progress tracking: Collect, validate, and record progress data from the field, including walkdowns, quantities installed, and milestone completion.
• Schedule support: Support the Scheduling lead with schedule updates, activity detail, logic checks, and coding in Primavera P6.
• Constraint management: Track constraints such as permits, materials, equipment deliveries, access, and design information, and help clear them before they affect work.
• Coordination: Attend and support coordination meetings with contractors and trades; record actions and follow up on commitments.
• Commissioning and handover: Help plan and track commissioning activities, system turnovers, and punch list close-out.
• Reporting: Prepare progress charts, milestone trackers, and inputs to weekly and monthly project reports.
• Data quality: Maintain accurate planning records and documentation in line with DCI project controls standards.
