CDM Smith seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. The role centers on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all delivery phases.

The ideal candidate has proven experience planning, managing design-build and EPC data center projects, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience managing design/construction projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• PMP certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major clients in the U.S.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor and lead multi-disciplinary project teams to promote collaboration and accountability.
• Resolve complex issues related to integration BMS and EPMS systems.
• Implement project controls, quality management, and H&S requirements.
• Communicate status and ensure deliverables meet contract requirements.
