Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. This high-impact role focuses on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing design-build and EPC data center projects, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major US clients.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout for mission-critical facilities.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure consistent execution.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with engineering teams and coordinate with specialists.
• Ensure project controls, quality management, and HS&E compliance.
• Maintain client satisfaction and pursue repeat business.
• Lead client-facing delivery meetings and manage expectations.
