Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects nationwide. The role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience in planning, design-build or EPC delivery for data centers, including power, water systems, networking, and civil site development. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major clients in the U.S.
• Develop and execute project scope, schedule, and budget with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines, constructors, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, and risk identification.
• Mentor and lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure consistent execution.
• Resolve complex issues related to BMS and EPMS integration with engineering teams.
