Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex data center projects for clients nationwide. This role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases.

The ideal candidate has experience with data center design-build or EPC delivery, including power, water, networking, and civil site development, along with strong leadership and client-facing abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major clients in the U.S.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Monitor project financial performance including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and ensure quality and risk management.
• Support client satisfaction and pursuit of repeat work through proactive communication.
