Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Manager to lead innovative design projects for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will oversee internal and external teams, manage budgets and workplans, and ensure contract documents are developed accurately and delivered on time.

You will serve as the primary client contact, driving exceptional service, coordinating multidisciplinary consultants, and maintaining QA/QC across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in architecture or interior design.
• 5+ years in project management on complex data center or mission-critical facilities.
• PMP certification and licensed architect preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
• Familiar with local, county, state, and federal codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate all phases of data center projects, including conceptual through construction services.
• Partner with Practice Leader to support development, schedule, scope, and contract management.
• Discuss project health with the operations leader and escalate issues to leadership.
• Maintain project planner and discuss at weekly staffing meetings.
• Issue change orders and secure approvals for additional scope.
• Coordinate with contracts team for successful contract execution.
• Assemble consultant teams and manage fees, scopes, and contractor coordination.
• Mentor junior project members and support business development and proposals.
