Job summary

ENVICOOL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the deployment and delivery of data center cooling and liquid cooling solutions across the United States. Responsibilities

  • Monitor progress, manage scope, cost, quality, and safety performance.
  • Provide project updates and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Lead project closeout and ensure documentation is completed.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the deployment and delivery of data center cooling and liquid cooling solutions across the United States.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, coordinating customers, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong project management skills, technical coordination capability, and the ability to manage field execution in mission-critical environments such as data centers.

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project Management
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, including project kickoff, planning, execution, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and final handover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to customer requirements and contractual commitments.
2. Data Center Site & Field Management
  • Lead on-site project execution activities, including equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate daily activities among customers, engineering teams, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Monitor site progress and drive timely issue resolution.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.
  • Identify project risks, delays, and technical challenges proactively.
  • Develop mitigation plans and coordinate corrective actions.
4. Technical Coordination & Commissioning Support
  • Coordinate technical discussions between customers, engineering teams, and construction partners.
  • Support design reviews, blueprint reviews, equipment integration, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact during project execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide project updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Project Closeout & Documentation
  • Lead project acceptance, completion documentation, and final handover activities.
  • Ensure project records, commissioning documents, and related documentation are completed.
7. Business & Process Improvement
  • Ensure successful project delivery while protecting revenue, profitability, cost objectives, and cash flow.
  • Identify process improvements and future customer opportunities.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Energy, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, project delivery, field engineering, or construction coordination.
  • Experience with data centers, HVAC systems, MEP systems, critical infrastructure, or liquid cooling solutions is highly preferred.

Project Management Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience coordinating customers, contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, MEP infrastructure, or data center environments preferred.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
  • Fluent English communication skills,Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
