Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Construction Manager for data center projects in the Charlotte area. You will lead full-cycle delivery, from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring on-site execution stays on course.

You will review requirements, track milestones with PM tools, and coordinate with trades and stakeholders to maximize efficiency while managing costs, safety, and closeout activities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management or related roles.
• Experience leading electrical, industrial, or general construction projects.
• Leadership or project management experience in a team setting.
• Ability to operate across on-site and remote work environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle project delivery from planning to risk management.
• Review technical requirements and scopes during handoff.
• Use PM tools to track milestones and deliverables.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and teams.
• Coordinate with trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
• Manage closeout, punch lists, warranty handoff, and transition.
• Act as primary on-site contact for EESS activities.
• Promote safety initiatives with District Operations.
• Oversee cost control and change orders.
• Collaborate with commercial ops, sales engineers, and tech support.
