Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the end-to-end delivery of structural support, containment, and ceiling systems for data center clients. You will own multiple projects from sales handoff through closeout, coordinating engineering, submittals, procurement, fabrication, and delivery logistics.

This role requires hands-on project management, strong communication, and the ability to align technical work with contracts and codes while driving cross-functional teams to on-time,

Qualifications

• : The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2-3 years of project management experience on CapEx projects.
• : Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications.
• : Working knowledge of United States building codes and standards.
• : Ability to develop and maintain project schedules and track milestones across multiple projects.
• : Strong communication skills to act as primary client and team contact.
• : Experience documenting changes to scope and managing Change Orders.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple projects from sales handoff through closeout, delivering structural, containment, and ceiling systems for data centers.
• Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, fabrication and shipping.
• Identify risks and resource needs early, escalating concerns as needed.
• Serve as primary client contact and lead customer meetings on status and changes.
• Manage submittal cycles including preparation, reviews, and comment resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and logistics.
