Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee data center mechanical construction and maintenance. You will manage process piping, chillers, CRAH units, water cooling systems, and related equipment across multiple sites, focusing on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will supervise crews, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with electrical and controls teams to ensure on-time project delivery. Experience in data centers and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level mechanical engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supervising mechanical crews on data center or critical facilities.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical construction and maintenance activities for data center projects.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical crews and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Inspect work for quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and maintain detailed work schedules and critical path activities.
• Coordinate with other trades to align mechanical work with project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance on piping, HVAC, CRAH units, and related equipment.
