Job summary

Orise is seeking a senior project leader to manage large-scale data center delivery in Houston, coordinating engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning through handover.

You will own scope, schedule, budget and safety, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure milestones and risks are clearly communicated on active construction sites.

Strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to travel to customer sites are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Substantial project management experience in data centers or high-availability environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple building trades and managing interfaces across design, construction and commissioning.
• Working knowledge of building automation and controls (BMS/EPMS/PLC/SCADA) and OT networks.
• Strong project controls and commercial skills including schedule management and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risks and customer communication from handover through close-out.
• Build and maintain an integrated delivery plan covering engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Lead regular project reviews and provide clear, forward-looking reporting on milestones, forecast, risks and decisions.
• Manage several workstreams or projects simultaneously with clear priorities.
• Coordinate interfaces among electrical, mechanical, controls, BMS/EPMS, network/OT and other trades.
• Maintain active risk and opportunity registers, ensure quality and safety compliance, and oversee commissioning and turnover documentation.
• Act as primary customer contact and escalation point for assigned projects.
