Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the Columbus, OH team focused on the Data Center market. You will support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with design and field teams.

Ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management and 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in data centers or other critical environments. Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management.
• 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience with mission critical/data center projects or critical environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field tablets/smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project progress using the QMS program.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bid solicitations.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials ensuring budget and specifications.
• Review invoices and change orders; negotiate with subcontractors.
• Attend weekly job site meetings and prepare status reports.
• Ensure safety program is implemented on site.
