Job summary

Gray Construction in Columbus, OH is seeking a Data Center Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. You will support mission-critical project execution, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors and clients to keep schedules and budgets on track.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction Management plus 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in data centers or critical environments, and a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management.
3+ years of relevant construction experience.
Experience in mission critical/data center projects OR critical environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling applications.

Responsibilities

Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting to ensure that construction of project parallels with schedule.
Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation.
Purchase and coordinate the delivery of certain materials for the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications and budget.
Reviews and approves invoices and change orders.
Attend weekly job site meetings and assist in the preparation of reports such as monthly red files, progress analyses and status reports.
