Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Data Center, Assistant Project Manager to join the Columbus, OH team. The role focuses on managing project progress, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring safety programs on site.

The wage range is 60K to 110K annually. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management and at least 3 years of construction experience, with data center or critical environment exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management.
• 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience with data centers or critical environments preferred (hospital, casino, etc).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bid solicitations.
• Coordinate delivery of materials ensuring cost, quality and conformance to specs and budget.
• Review invoices and change orders; negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
