Aegis Project Controls in Monroe, LA is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead CPM scheduling for data center projects. You will develop, manage, and monitor schedules, perform critical path analyses, and coordinate with project managers, owners, and stakeholders on-site.

The role requires 5+ years in project controls with data center experience, Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong communication. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction.
• Two+ years in project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waived with 5+ years of vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing construction schedules for data center projects.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses in planning and scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
• On-site full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM schedules.
• Review project documents to baseline schedules with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reports and narratives.
• Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risk and impacts within project schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and stakeholders.
