Job summary

The Aegis Companies is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support for our data center practice. You will join a team of project managers and engineers to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules throughout the project life cycle on site.

Requirements include 5+ years in project controls and CPM scheduling, 2+ years in data centers, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction.
• Two+ years of project controls for data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waived with 5+ years direct vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and understand means, methods, and sequences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction CPM schedules.
• Review documents to develop baseline schedules with required dates, activities and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present updates to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
