Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an ambitious Project Controls Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successful client delivery and will help lead project controls services for major client accounts.

The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive control strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing expert guidance on cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management. On-site expectations may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Graduate degree in related disciplines is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a project controls role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of schedule, cost control, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project control strategies to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to define objectives and KPIs.
• Create detailed schedules with critical path and resources.
• Monitor progress against baselines and identify deviations.
• Provide reports on schedule, cost, earned value, and risk.
• Advise on cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Develop change management processes and manage scope changes.
• Assist teams with contingency planning and risk mitigation.
• Analyze project data to support decision-making.
• Train and mentor team members in project control methodologies.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and apply best practices.
