Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Knightdale, NC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing ops across multiple areas, drive throughput, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on leader will manage labor, materials, and equipment while aligning with safety and cost goals.

Key duties include supervising diverse teams, applying data-driven decisions, and coordinating with engineering, quality, and materials to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervision experience in a non-union environment.
• Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, specifications, and the NEC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 preferred.
• Disciplined in 5S and Lean Six Sigma principles a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities across assigned areas and align with strategic goals.
• Assign and follow up daily tasks; manage labor, materials, tools, and equipment to meet schedules.
• Monitor KPIs: throughput, on-time delivery, quality, and workforce utilization.
• Implement data-driven decisions to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Train, coach, and develop employees across manufacturing disciplines.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Production Planners, Engineering, Quality, and Materials teams.
