Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Knightdale, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and coordinate several customer projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget. The role combines project leadership with manufacturing oversight to meet customer and company goals.

You will lead planning, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and QA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field.
7–8 years of overall work experience with 5+ years as a Project Manager or similar role in electrical/mechanical engineering, low voltage and prefabricated systems.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, within-scope, within-budget delivery.
Act as primary client contact, gathering requirements and providing regular updates.
Coordinate with engineering teams to maintain technical integrity and regulatory compliance.
Lead a multidisciplinary project team and resolve conflicts to achieve goals.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Develop and manage project budgets; monitor expenditures and optimize costs.
Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Analyze outcomes for continuous improvement and apply lessons learned.
