Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Power Systems Project Manager, Data Center Focus, to own planning, execution, and delivery for data center and mission-critical power projects across multiple U.S. markets in a hybrid work environment.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, serving as the main client contact and coordinating with substation engineering and interconnection teams to ensure constructible designs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in power systems or electrical infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical engagements preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection processes (ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM) a plus.
• PMP certification or active pursuit is a plus; PE license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center and power engagements.
• Serve as primary client contact for developers, investors, and authorities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across substation, civil/structural, generation, and interconnection.
• Manage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration.
• Support early-stage feasibility studies and master planning for pre-investment data centers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with technical leads.
• Lead proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations.
