Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Power Systems Project Manager, Data Center Focus, to own and deliver data center and mission-critical power projects. You will lead planning, scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with substation, protection and control, and civil disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of power systems or electrical infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large-load engagements preferred.
• Understanding of substation design, generation/interconnection, and transmission planning.
• PMP certification or active pursuit is a plus; PE license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center and power engagements.
• Serve as primary client contact translating objectives into project scope.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across engineering disciplines.
• Manage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration.
• Support feasibility studies and pre-investment master planning for data centers.
• Identify risks and track mitigation with technical leads.
• Lead proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations for BD.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and industry standards.
• Mentor junior staff supporting projects.
• Coordinate with interconnection and substation teams to ensure deliverables.
