Actalent is seeking a Power Systems Field Service Technician to commission, test, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical infrastructure in live data center environments. This role requires hands-on experience with MDS, ATS, and PDUs, and a strong ability to work independently while ensuring reliability and safety.

The position involves planning field work, performing functional tests on low-voltage systems (<1000V), documenting results, and communicating with project teams. NFPA 70E certification and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Formación

• Proven hands-on experience commissioning data center power systems.
• Experience with testing Main Distribution Switchboards, ATS, and PDUs.
• Ability to troubleshoot low-voltage distribution under 1,000V.
• NFPA 70E certification and safety-first mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication in field settings.
• Ability to work independently in live data center environments.

Responsabilidades

• Commission and functionally test data center electrical systems (MDS, ATS, PDUs).
• Perform cold checks and power-on tests in manual and automatic modes.
• Prepare commissioning documentation and daily test reports.
• Communicate progress and issues with project teams and site personnel.
• Work independently in live, energized environments with NFPA 70E compliance.
• Read electrical drawings and wiring schematics to guide testing.
• Support operational handoff by confirming system readiness.
