Job summary

Google LLC in Addison, TX is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead system-level design and power distribution for mission-critical facilities. You will work on power infrastructure and collaborate across engineering and field teams to implement robust, safe installations.

You will ensure designs comply with codes, mentor electrical contractors, and support construction with rigorous site reviews and RFI handling. There is a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of electrical engineering experience in power distribution for mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with Low/Medium Voltage systems, switchgear and transformers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in the field with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Define data center system-level architecture and power infrastructure.
• Conduct engineering analysis of data center equipment and facilities.
• Ensure designs meet cooling/structural/operational requirements.
• Bridge design and execution on construction sites and mentor contractors.
