Google LLC is seeking a Regional Lead Data Center Electrical Engineer to advance the electrical design and construction of mission critical facilities across North America. You will lead on-site teams, drive electrical infrastructure standards, and coordinate Basis of Design through construction documents for new builds and upgrades.

You will demonstrate deep expertise in switchgear, substations, emergency power, and high/medium voltage systems, while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• 12 years in electrical design, operations, commissioning of substations, switchgear, ATP/ATS, emergency power systems, power monitoring and electrical protection.
• 12 years of experience as a practicing engineer.
• 5 years in leadership roles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert technical support and leadership to on-site DCS teams across North America, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
• Represent DCS in development and management of electrical designs from BoD through to construction documents.
• Act as escalation point for RFIs, ensuring alignment between Google's requirements and overall design.
• Collaborate with core engineering to provide site-specific requirements during Basis of Design development.
• Provide leadership to on-site DCS engineers, contractors, and vendors during project execution.
