Google LLC is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to serve as the primary liaison on data center construction sites. You will resolve design ambiguities and field-fit challenges while ensuring installations meet drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards.

You will analyze facility systems, inspect construction quality, and support contractors. The role involves travel up to 50% and collaboration across cross-disciplinary teams to develop robust system architectures and ongoing O&M

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five years of electrical engineering experience focused on power distribution and construction support for mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems, including switchgear and transformers; willingness to travel up to 50% and inspect equipment during critical construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical engineering liaison at data center construction sites, resolving design ambiguities and field-fit challenges.
• Ensure installations meet drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards; analyze facility systems and equipment.
• Support contractors and help develop system architectures and operations and maintenance procedures.
