Google LLC in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Data Center Services Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of complex Electrical distribution systems in mission-critical data centers. You will manage site-level issues, ensure compliance with codes, and guide vendor teams on electrical design implementations.

This role requires strong collaboration, a clear communicator, and the ability to work onsite five days a week.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.
• Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience with high voltage substations, power distribution and related control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own and resolve site-level electrical issues during project execution.
• Partner with core engineering to integrate new technologies and coordinate schematics with the EOR.
• Understand ongoing electrical project requirements, respond to RFIs with the Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Collaborate with DCDE core teams to develop and manage site electrical designs for new builds, upgrades and renovations.
• Provide technical support to operations and data center services to define electrical design requirements.
